Terms and Conditions
1.
Enquiry Procedure
1.1. An enquiry may be submitted to us by filling out our ‘Enquiries
and Comments” form, or by simply emailing or calling us.
A member of our staff will then send you a quotation by fax or
email. We would be happy to send a sample of our products to you.
2.
Order Procedure
2.1. If you would like to go ahead with an order, you may send
your official Purchase Order detailing your exact requirements.
We will then send you our Sales Order which if you agree with
the details sign and fax back to us. We will at that point require
your artwork if printing is required. (Please see below for File
Types acceptable) On approval of artwork we will require a 50%
part payment.
3.
Payment Terms
3.1. Our payment terms are 50% advance and balance 50% payable
within 7 days of receipt of goods. With our Sales Order we will
also send you a Pro-forma Invoice for the 50% part payment. A
final invoice will be sent after the delivery of the goods. The
full amount is payable on stock bags which can be delivered to
you within a week.
3.2.
We accept payment by all major Credit Cards (VISA, Mastercard
or American Express). A 3.5% surcharge will be applied with all
credit card payments. Payment may also be made by cheque or bank
transfer. After receipt of deposit we will go ahead with the production.
4.
Lead Time
4.1. If samples are required with your own artwork on then our
lead-time cane be less than 1 week from date of order and a payment method that
is agreed by D H Promotions. Our standard lead-time is a maximum of 3 weeks
from date of order and approval of artwork. If goods are required
within 1 week there will be a small additional “Express”
charge.
5. Express Charge
5.1. An express charge is applicable for urgent orders. This will
be stated on our quotation.
6.
Proofs
6.1. Proof of your Design will be sent to you by e-mail for your
approval. Approval of the proof shall constitute acceptance of
all the terms and conditions contained herein. Delay on approval
of proofs will delay shipment accordingly. If you have ordered
a physical sample, our sample approval sheet will have to be filled
out and sent back to us by fax or post.
7. Screen/Plates/Film Charge
7.1. This is a one-off charge, this charge will not need to be
paid for repeat orders if there are no amendments to the artwork.
The plates are charged per size as a different plate will need
to be made for each size. If printing is required inside the bag
there will be another plate charge.
8.
Pantone Codes
8.1. You may specify certain Pantone Codes for colour of bag and
printing and also for the rope handle. Colours are matched as
close as possible based on Pantone colours. Exact colour matching
is not guaranteed but we will try our best to match your requirements.
The same applies to rope handles.
9. Artwork
9.1. All prices are based on camera-ready artwork, colour separated
typeset artwork to size being supplied. All artwork submitted
not to size will be either enlarged or reduced to fit the maximum
imprint size, unless otherwise stated by customer. If artwork
requires typesetting, touch ups, we reserve the right to modify
the artwork and charge accordingly. D H Promotions will not be
responsible for the quality of product unless artwork is camera
ready.
10.
Computer Formatted Artwork
10.1. Please contact D H Promotions if you have any questions
for specifications on submitting artwork on CD or email .
11.
Artwork and File Types for Personalisation
11.1. Shopping Bags Direct operate PC format software and can
accept the following file types:

Please remember to export text as curves or embed any used fonts.
Artwork should be saved at 300dpi.
12. When goods are ready to be delivered
12.1. When goods are ready to be delivered, we will inform you
of the amount of boxes to be delivered. We will telephone you
and arrange a convenient date to deliver the goods to you.
13. Normal Packaging
13.1. In hardback paper carton box approximately 250 bags in one
box depending on quantity and size of bags.
14.
Cancellation
14.1. Cancellations must be made in writing and received at D
H Promotions within two days after the final contract has been
placed. Phone cancellations are not acceptable. For cancellation
of sample order, D H Promotions will accept the cancellation only
if the goods are not shipped and no imprinted screen has been
made.
15.
Pricing
15.1. We believe that we can offer you the lowest prices available,
as we are a direct manufacturer rather than being a “middle
man”. This way we can offer the savings back to you. In
the event that you do find a lower advertised price, just call
our order department and tell them where you found it. We will
do our best to match or beat any competitor's written or advertised
price.
15.2. We do not have a published price list of our custom made
bags, we provide pricing by custom quote requests on your individual
bag requirement.
15.3.
We try to offer accurate information and pricing, but we are human.
For all prices and products we reserve the right to make adjustments
due to such things as typo errors, changing market conditions
or discontinuation of products.
15.4.
D H Promotions cannot be responsible for manufacturer's price
and policy changes and therefore D H Promotions reserves the right
to make price changes, limit quantities or alter unit or bundle
counts on merchandise without notice. All orders are accepted
subject to prevailing prices at time of shipment.
15.5.
D H Promotions shall not be liable for failure to deliver goods
or delays in delivery. We will make two delivery attempts then
we reserve the right to cancel the order or charge an additional
delivery charge.
15.6.
All items are priced net C.O.D, D.D.P or F.O.B. or C.I.F. our
warehouse. D H Promotions has no control over how products are
used and disclaims all warranties express or implied of merchantability
or fitness for any purpose.
15.7.
Any and all liability is limited to the cost of products purchased.
